CAMTEL- which developed the telephone network in Cameroon, is not privatised yet, partners are still awaited. According to the local press, the privatisation process which began in 1994, is going to be revised-new developments concerning the company’s assets need to be updated to reflect the real value of this corporate- following the withdrawal of two major temporary successful tenderers.
